Getting to the island

Before the wedding

  • Make sure you check the latest Covid19 travel guidelines before you travel. (https://cyprusflightpass.gov.cy/) (We will try to keep you updated).
  • Cyprus is a beautiful country with some of the best beaches you can find, rich history, cute villages and tasty food, so make sure to plan at least a few vacation days.
  • Choosing your hotel: The wedding is going to take place in Anthoupoli (an area of Nicosia). However, since Cyprus is a rather small country you may prefer to pick a hotel near the sea for most of the days of your trip. You can check the distances on the map. Larnaca is the closest seaside city so it’s a good option. Protaras and Ayia Napa are beautiful areas in the Ammochostos district but are a bit further from the location of the wedding. Keep in mind that half of Cyprus is occupied by the Turkish army so try to avoid booking a hotel at the occupied area.
  • Transit: We recommend if you are staying more than a couple of days to rent a car. Keep in mind that in Cyprus we drive on the left side of the street. There are public transportations available in most tourist areas but the routes may not always suit you. Taxi is also an option for smaller routes (No Uber in Cyprus).
